We were delighted to welcome The Tumbling Paddies to our school today to officially open our NEW Computer Suite. Past pupil on guitar, Lee Jones got to cut the ribbon. The band then provided some fabulous entertainment for the children and staff. They invited All Ireland Banjo Winner Eoin Creevy up to play with them. It was no bother to Eoin as you can see in the video below. Watch out John you might loose your job!!!😀 It was lovely to hear the children chanting for one more song. Thank you to all the band who were so patient letting us get lots of photos and autographs at the end. Well done to Miss Woodhouse for designing and getting the selfie frame donated for the occasion. In October 2024. the P7 children asked to create a NEW computer suite. In June 2025, mission accomplished just in time before the children head off to pastures NEW! One final request from the children was to organise an opening event and for The Tumbling Paddies to attend and entertain! Thankfully, Lee didn't disappoint! The children wanted to mark the occasion by wearing a specially designed t-shirt to mark the occasion. Miss McGarrigle treated ALL the P7 children by purchasing t-shirts, printing and ironing on the designs! The children were delighted with their t-shirt and The Tumbling Paddies were also impressed! Thank you Miss McGarrigle.
