On Tuesday morning Rory from the Education Authority delivered a Transition Workshop to our Primary 7 children who are moving on to post-primary education next year.
The workshop aimed to provide the children with the tools they will need to embrace the changes and challenges that await them in the next move in their school journey.
It was delivered in a fun, activity-based way and the children learnt a lot. They especially enjoyed role-playing different scenarios which might arise in post-primary, such as what to do if you forget your homework or what to do if you see a child on their own.
