We had a busy week before finishing up for our Halloween break!
Alongside all the fun Halloween activities on Friday, we were delighted to welcome Laura from Enniskillen Fire Station, who came to talk to us about the importance of fire safety in the home and the dangers of fireworks, especially at this time of year. We even got to try on the special firefighter gear and wow, it was heavy! It was such an interesting and informative visit.
During our Mandarin lesson🇨🇳, we also created colourful posters to celebrate the Chinese New Year. This year is the year of the horse🐎. Everyone produced such vibrant and unique designs, and we’re hoping some might even win prizes in the competition!
We also had a very special visitor come to see us, Mrs. Dolan and her gorgeous baby boy, Shay! 💙He was full of smiles for everyone 👶. We were all delighted to meet him and loved having them both visit our classroom.
Overall, it’s been a fun, busy, and packed term. We’ve learned so much, shared lots of laughter, and made great memories with friends. Now it’s time for a well-deserved break to relax and recharge.
