What a busy and exciting week of learning in our classroom! ✏️📚🌍
The children have been developing their mathematical language skills, exploring concepts such as more than, less than, times bigger and times smaller. They loved taking part in a fun ‘Show Me’ whiteboard game where they demonstrated their learning through quick-fire quizzes and challenges 🔢👏
We also continued working on our story writing skills and there are some very imaginative, creative and exciting stories being created in the classroom. We are really looking forward to seeing how these fantastic pieces of writing develop over the coming weeks ✍️✨
This week we also began our new 'World Around Us' topic, ‘Extreme Earth’ 🌋🌎. The children thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the ICT suite researching facts about our amazing planet. They worked hard to create presentations before confidently presenting their findings to their classmates 💻🎤
To finish off the week, we completed our class notice board and it looks bright, colourful and vibrant🔅🎨. We absolutely love the positive atmosphere it brings to our school corridor 😊
