This week we did lots of work in numeracy with hundreds, tens and ones, we then played some board games to practise our adding and counting🐍🪜.
On Wednesday we heard some amazing speeches🗨 from all the children who wanted to be the voice of our class and be on the panel of the student council. After hearing all the amazing speeches, the children voted Elena(p5), Conor(p5) Grace(p6) and Eoin(p6) to be our class representatives for the year, Well done everyone 👏
Thursday we worked hard on our topic of discussion 'The Rainforests of the World'. The children really enjoyed researching interesting facts on this subject and our display board turned out FANTASTIC. We have included some pictures of it below for you all to see 👀 Unfortunately.....we didn't win the display board prize this year, but we had lots of fun and learned so much. Well done to P2 who won the prize 👏.
Mrs McAloon made our PE sessions so much fun this week. We played lots of new games and learned new skills. We played Rock🪨, Paper📰, Scissors✂️ and this definitely tested not only the quick reaction of moving our bodies but also it required our brains🤯 to react quickly too. It definitely had us sweating 💦.
Overall, we all had a fantastic week. Well done P5/6. Enjoy your weekend and we will see you all on Monday 😊
