PE with Mr Garritty was great fun this week😊. We practised our defending and tackling skills, focusing on staying safe with non-contact techniques. We finished with a lively game of King/Queen of the Ring.🤴👸
In Literacy📝 and Numeracy🔢, we continued to develop our vocabulary and knowledge. We enjoyed exploring homophones, which are words that sound the same but look different and have different meanings, such as pair/pear, sea/see, and night/knight. We also investigated palindromes, which are words or numbers that read the same forwards and backwards. ➡️⬅️ Some of our favourites were madam, mum, dad, 121, and 22:22. We’re looking forward to spotting more in our reading and even in our maths work.👀
