What a Week! 🌟
We’ve had such a busy and exciting week full of learning, creating, and having fun together!
In the classroom, we explored the 'Power of Punctuation' and practiced building strong, well-structured sentences. Did you know that every single sentence in the whole wide world starts with a capital letter? That’s something we all have in common! 🔠🌍
In Numeracy, we dove into place value and worked on multiplying numbers by 10, 100, and even 1000. We used fun, visual activities to help us understand how the digits shift places depending on the multiplier. 🔢✖️
We also had a great time learning about data handling. After carrying out a classroom survey to discover everyone's favourite flavour of crisps, we carefully created our own bar charts to show the results. 📊 Later in the week, we visited our brand new ICT Suite 💻👨💻 and transferred our data onto the computers to make digital bar charts, they looked very impressive! 👀
Of course, it wasn’t all hard work! We were lucky to enjoy lots of physical activity time too! Mrs. McAloon took us back to the 'old skool' with a classic game of Rounders 🏏🏃♀️🏃♂️. We had an absolute blast playing and have already asked if we can do it again soon!
We finished the week on a high by celebrating and sending positive vibes to support both the Harps Ladies and Men’s teams ahead of their big games this weekend. 💜💛
