This week we were very excited to begin our Irish language lessons with our teacher, Miss McQuaid! ☘️✨
The lesson was upbeat and fun from start to finish. We learned how to greet each other by saying “Dia duit, cad is ainm duit?” which means “Hello, what is your name?”
We also learned the months of the year to the tune of the “Hey Macarena” song🎶. It was so much fun and we even added the actions to help us remember them! 💃🕺
Did you know that Nollaig means both Christmas and December in Irish? 😲🎄
We are already looking forward to next weeks lesson 😀 ☘️
